NedRINK
Nederland Ice & Racquet Park
NedRINK is the internet home of the Nederland Ice & Racquet Park located in the beautiful mountain town of Nederland, Colorado. In the winter, it's an Olympic-size, outdoor, open-air ice rink, for recreational and figure skating and hockey. In the summer, it converts into three public tennis courts. The object is to have 4 or 6 teams (we have only one team so far, so sign-up)! Each team will include 2 men and 2 women (and if possible one more man and one more women as substitutes or alternates). One of the players will be the captain, organize her or his team and report to Adolfo Games. Want to help maintain and improve the Nederland Ice and Racquet Park? Have a knack for raising money? Join the non-profit RINK (Racquets and Ice for Nederland Kids) board. Contact us for more info. Our Director of Tennis, Adolfo Games, is coordinating many activities for both adults and youth. Check the Tennis Season page and links for more information and our calendar for dates of clinics, tournaments, etc.
Local Boy Scout and skater, Ben Morrissey, is starting an Eagle Scout project to build players boxers at the ice rink. He will build the boxes out of the old, donated Caribou Wind wooden boards. If you'd like to help, contact Ben! |
