We will be gathering to work together as volunteers for the next four to five Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m. If mother nature cooperates, our goal is to open the beginning of December. This is a grassroots, volunteer-driven park; without your help, we will never be ready in time!

Want to get in shape for the upcoming NedRink ice season? Come on out for a rousing game of fast, furious floor hockey. If you're not familiar with the sport, it's hockey played on foot (no skates or roller blades). So, if you can run, you can play! We use plastic sticks and pucks so almost no protective gear is necessary. We will provide all sticks, pucks, nets and goalie gear. All you have to do is show up with good, non-marking athletic shoes. Eye protection and light soccer shin pads are recommended, especially if you are a beginner.

Floor hockey sessions will run every Wednesday night from 6:30pm to 8pm at the Nederland Community Center gym. Our first session will be Wednesday, Oct 1. The cost is $3 for 90 minutes of play, or purchase a Community Center drop-in gym pass.
