Transition from tennis to ice each Sunday in November!

Tennis enthusiasts, get in one last game this Saturday! Sunday we will begin the transition from tennis to ice. We will be gathering to work together as volunteers for the next four to five Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m. If mother nature cooperates, our goal is to open the beginning of December. This is a grassroots, volunteer-driven park; without your help, we will never be ready in time!

This is your chance to take ownership of your park and earn a season pass to ice skate this winter. Anyone who logs 17 volunteer hours will receive a family ice pass or 12 hours for an individual pass. This first Sunday, we will break down the tennis nets and get organized as we prepare to move the dasher boards into the rink set up the following week.

You can also contact Marylou Harrison at 303.258.3432 to sign up as Rink Attendant for a specific "Open Rec, Speed Skating, Learn to Skate, Drop In Hockey or Stick & Puck" ice session for the whole season to satisfy your volunteer hours. The NYH sessions are always covered by the team managers.

R.I.N.K. (Racquets & Ice for Nederland Kids) is also looking for a secretary to sit on the board of directors. This is your chance to have an direct impact on your park and at the same time earn your family's tennis and skating pass. Please call the RINK hot-line @ 303.478.8592 if you are interested.

Thanks again for all of your help and support!
